NEST
'Nest’ encompasses a series of self-portraits taken along the coast of Cornwall in the southwest of the UK. Bee returned to various locations on multiple occasions to capture the transitions between the energies of the body and the landscape. With repetition of a ‘fetus’ pose, the work depicts a desire to reconnect with maternal roots in nature, drawing restoration from the natural environment and the soothing sensuous experiences of the seascape.
