NEST
'Nest' encompasses a series of self-portraits taken along the coast of Cornwall in the southwest of the UK. Bee returned to several locations on multiple occasions to capture the transitions between the body’s energy and the landscape. Through the repetition of a 'fetal' pose, the work expresses a longing to reconnect with maternal roots in nature, seeking restoration in the natural environment and the soothing, sensuous experiences of the seascape.
